Meet Ola El-Metwally, an artist and engineering student from Egypt with a lifelong passion for creativity. Growing up in a country where hobbies often take two paths—art or soccer—Ola leaned into her artistic side (she’ll be the first to admit she’s not cut out for the soccer field!).
Ola’s journey as an artist began in middle school, where she taught herself through YouTube tutorials and free online courses. Though she never imagined art would become her career, the world of freelancing opened its doors in 2019, and she eagerly stepped through. While the path hasn’t always been easy, every challenge has been a valuable learning experience.

Children’s books hold a special place in Ola’s heart. Her summers spent as a kindergarten assistant—doodling, telling stories, and sharing laughter with kids—showed her the profound joy of storytelling through art.
What excites Ola most about Elsie’s Adventures to Harmony Hills: The Big Move is that it’s more than a children’s story. Its themes resonate with readers of all ages, even adults like her. She’s thrilled to bring this heartfelt narrative to life, infusing it with all the charm and emotion it deserves.
